This version upgrade is seamless: you can log in with your usual username and password to access your user account.
Go to your Carbulator account under My Profile > Subscription, and select the license that suits your needs. You will be directed to an online subscription form.
Before subscribing, please make sure your current account meets the maximum thresholds for your chosen license:
Short Film License: 1 organization and 1 studio
Basic License: 1 organization and 5 studios
Group License: up to 15 organizations, unlimited studios
You don’t need to do anything; you’ll continue to have access to the organizations that invited you to contribute data.
The user license takes the form of an annual subscription, provided at a fixed rate per subscribing company.
Certain limitations apply depending on the type of license purchased. Users are encouraged to refer to the specifications table above.
Billing occurs in a single payment at the time of subscription. This marks the start of the annual commitment period.
No. License fees are fixed and apply uniformly, regardless of the user’s company size or type. No discounts or special pricing terms will be granted on this basis.
An invoice is issued for each payment and made available to the user in their customer portal. Please note that, effective September 1, 2027, in accordance with current legislation, this invoice will also be sent electronically via a Platform Approved (PA) by the tax authorities to French companies.
The subscription is for a term of twelve (12) months. It cannot be terminated before its annual expiration date.
You can change your plan during the contract term under the following conditions:
Upgrading to a higher-tier plan (Upgrade)
The user may upgrade their license at any time during the contract period. This change requires payment of the difference between the price of the current plan and that of the new plan, regardless of the date the upgrade is requested; no pro-rata calculation is applied.
Example: To upgrade from a Base license (€1,500) to a Group license (€5,000) during the commitment period, the amount due is €5,000 − €1,500 = €3,500
The anniversary date (corresponding to the date of the initial subscription) remains unchanged and continues to apply to subsequent renewals.
Upgrading to a Lower-Tier Plan (Downgrade)
The user may also downgrade their license. However, this change takes effect only upon expiration of the current license; downgrades are not permitted during the commitment period.
The subscription renews automatically. An email is sent to the user in advance to notify them of the upcoming billing.
If the license is canceled or not renewed, the user’s account is suspended on its anniversary date.
The data is retained for a period of three (3) years from the date of suspension, during which time the account may be reactivated at any time, provided a new license is purchased. Upon expiration of this period, the data and the user’s account are permanently deleted.
Furthermore, the user may, at any time during this retention period, request the complete and early deletion of their account and all of their data, without waiting for the three (3) year period to expire. Once carried out, this deletion is permanent and irreversible.
