Version 3.5 – 2026.09

Access

  • Carbulator can now be accessed via the current website by clicking the LOG IN button
    or directly via the URL app.carbulator.org
  • Use of Carbulator now requires a paid license subscription.

Calculation

  • Adjustments and refinements of the calculation algorithm
  • Accounting for international and multi-site co-productions (phased introduction of localized emission factors in 2027)
  • Faster software architecture enabling real-time assessment

Studio and Work Datasets

  • Usability improvements with the display of datasets in a billboard format.
  • For Studios, the “Forecast” and “Actual” types of datasets have been removed. However, it is still possible to create as many datasets as needed.
  • Improved navigation between viewing results and editing data.
  • Improved comparison feature between two datasets.
  • Studio Reports: Added an “In Progress / Completed” tag (manually toggled)
  • Project Reports: Added an “In Progress / Delivered” tag (manually toggled)
  • Added the ability to export reports to PDF format.

Studio Section

  • Reorganized the form into collapsible, color-coded blocks.
  • Removal of the “Remote Work” field.
  • Removal of the “IT Configurations” for support functions (now handled directly by the calculation algorithm).
  • Tangible fixed assets must now be reported in a specific section: left-hand side menu > Assets.

Production Section

  • Thumbnails have been added to make it easier to identify projects
  • The form has been reorganized into blocks.
  • The “Schedule Types” field has been removed for workgroups (this is handled directly by the calculation algorithm).

Charts

  • Improved charts for more detailed analysis, featuring submenus (Total CO2e, Total CO2e/FTE and Total CO2e/min).
  • Option to hide certain emission categories by clicking on their labels in the legend. The total ratio is then automatically recalculated.

Dashboard for Group licenses

  • Implementation of a dashboard to consolidate all production reports generated by each subsidiary, along with key performance indicators

Help Center

  • The Help Center and resources have been moved outside the Carbulator application. It is now accessible directly via the website.

  • Obtained CNC certification as a recognized calculator for providing carbon footprint assessments for production subsidy applications
